FIREWORKS SALES ASSIST PEOPLE IN NEED
(Issaquah, Washington)
As the American tradition approaches for the July 4th birthday celebration of the United States, Issaquah Christian Church (ICC) will once again have the fireworks stand located on the church property at 10328 Issaquah-Hobart Rd SE. The proceeds from the sale of the fireworks will support house-building in Mexico (June 2012); medical missions to Uganda, Africa and Haiti and ICC Womens' Ministries.

Each year, a youth-led team travels to one of the poorest are as of Mexico to build houses. These houses, completed in one week, are given to those in need at no cost and with no strings attached. These annual trips have impacted both those building the homes and those that receive them. This year’s team is comprised of 24 teenagers and adults.

ICC also has a team of 12 traveling to Africa (Summer of 2013) and a team of 15 returning to Haiti (November 2012). These teams include several medical professionals along with a support team who setup clinics in remote areas in order to provide medical care to hundreds of those in desperate need of basic to advanced medical care. Also, a construction team will assemble some facilities in Haiti in 2013.

The award-winning fireworks stand, in a huge tent, will be well stocked with TNT fireworks, the most popular brand of fireworks in the country. The safe and sane fireworks will include a huge display of items like sparklers, mortars, roman candles, aerials and fountains, in both individual and special packages; a complete product line for individual use or for family entertainment will be stocked in the huge tent. TNT has great deals for you this season, including various assortments of fireworks and a BUY ONE–GET ONE FREE promotion! In addition to helping us raise money for our worthy causes, patrons can register a coupon to win a free assortment of TNT products. All TNT products come with a 100% no-dud guarantee. Although not legal in the City of Issaquah, and other cities in the region, these fireworks may be enjoyed throughout unincorporated King County.

The Grand Opening for fireworks sales will be Thursday, June 28th, noon to 11:00pm. Hours of operation are 9am to 11pm everyday through Wednesday, July 4th. Directions to ICC: One and a half miles south of Issaquah on the Issaquah-Hobart Rd SE. Parking for patrons of the fireworks tent will continue to take place at ICC even during the Worship Center construction.
