Issaquah Christian Church at 10328 Issaquah-Hobart Rd SE will have a huge tent socked full of TNT fire works during a 7-day run of sales. The proceeds from the sales will assist teens and adults that travel to Mexico to build homes for the poor there. Once completed, the homes are given to the locals in need at no cost. This year there is 38 teens and adults scheduled to travel to Mexico. The trips are life changing for both the givers and receivers. An added event this year will be Sunday, July 1 for the Freedom Day Celebration. Music, food, inflatables and a Classic Car Show hosted by the Rock Solid Cruisers of Kent. A feature car at the car show will be the 1965 rebuilt Northwind top fuel dragster, the number one car in the nation back then. Hours of operation: 9a-9p, June 28-30; 9a-11a, July 1-4. Grand opening noon on June 28th. ICC is located just one and a half miles south of Issaquah. For more information call 425 392 5848.

Hydrocephalus Support Group Inc. Annual Picnic, Lower Woodland Park (N. 50th & Woodland Park Avenue North, Seattle), at Shelter #3, from 11am til late afternoon. Everyone is welcome to attend for a casual, get together and information about hydrocephalus--for friends, families, caregivers and those living with hydrocephalus. We do not turn anyone away, regardless of their ability to pay. Volunteers are an integral and vital part of our services. Each patient care volunteer is trained to serve as a listening and caring presence for patients and their caregivers, helping with tasks in the home, transportation for medical appointments, or respite for exhausted caregivers. Deadline for application is June 30.
We are offering a special training in Kent for South and East King County residents that will take place on Wednesday, July 18, 5pm to 9pm, and Friday-Sunday, July 27, 28 and 29 from 9am to 6pm. This training is open only to those willing to serve in South and East King County.
